Mercedes AMG GT’s Brand-New 375kW Turbo V8 Revealed

MERCEDES AMG GT ENGINE REVEALED

Mercedes AMG has revealed the engine with which its new GT coupe will take on the likes of Porsche’s 911 and Jaguar’s new F-Type Coupe.

As expected, the new heart is a twin-turbo 4.0 litre V8 developed entirely by the brains at AMG to be one of the most powerful engines of its type.

The new 3982cc ‘M178’ engine will fill the chests of a number of new models, but it will start by sending 375kW through the coming new AMG GT.
