The new Mercedes-AMG GT has followed in the tracks of Porsche’s new 911 and the Nissan 370Z, making its first undisguised appearance in a video game.
Just as the current Z and new 911 first appeared in Need for Speed game previews (2008 and 2011 respectively), AMG’s new hero coupe has snuck out of the shop for a spin in Sony’s new DriveClub.
A quartet of new teaser screengrabs highlights the new AMG GT from a number of angles, with the tastiest shot offering a clear view of the coupe’s derriere.
As expected, the GT’s rear styling - and likely also the front, when at last it is revealed - takes its cues from the larger S-Class Coupe.
It’s a tighter design here however, with the more compact tail dominated by sharper and more slender lights above a large rear diffuser and a pair of wide exhaust tips.
