Mercedes-Benz has yet to reveal its new C-Class Coupe, but if reports out of the UK are to be believed, its first appearance could be quite a treat.
It is possible that Frankfurt will be the first appearance of any new C-Class Coupe model, although Mercedes-Benz may choose to slip the new bodystyle in with its plans for the Geneva Motor Show in March.
Still, the C-Class Coupe has yet to surface in camouflaged prototype form, which could suggest that its debut is still some time away.
As for its look, Auto Express reports that a Mercedes-AMG insider has confirmed styling that is inspired not only by the C-Class sedan and the larger S-Class Coupe, but also the brand’s new flagship GT Coupe.
“[Its styling is] not necessarily what you would expect this car to look like,” the insider reportedly told the magazine.
Little else is known at this stage, although we can likely expect the Mercedes-AMG C 63 Coupe to utilise the same 350kW/650Nm and 375kW/700Nm tunes of the company’s new 4.0 litre twin-turbo V8.
Watch for more details to surface in the coming months.
