What could be better than McLaren’s fast and focussed 675LT coupe? According to the British supercar firm’s customers, it's adding wind in the hair.
As a result of customer demand, McLaren will offer its very limited 496kW and 700Nm ‘longtail’, previously available only as a coupe, with a folding hard top. But the open-air version will be capped (like the coupe) at just 500 units worldwide.
Like the coupe before it, the Spider sheds 100kg compared to McLaren’s 650S Spider thanks to the use of carbon fibre body panels, powertrain weight savings, and lighter glazing.
