Details of Mazda’s new CX-3 crossover range have surfaced this week, if model and pricing information obtained by The Motor Report proves accurate.

Delivered to TMR’s inbox by an anonymous tipster, the information looks to be a full breakdown for Mazda dealers of features and pricing for the new CX-3, due to go on sale in late March.

The information reveals that the range will kick off from between “$19,500-$20,500” plus on-roads for the 2.0 litre petrol Neo with front-wheel-drive and a six-speed manual.

That would make the CX-3 even more affordable than Ford’s $20,790 EcoSport, which is currently the cheapest option among the new Mazda’s key rivals.

We do know however that Mazda Australia boss Martin Benders has said that the CX-3 will not be the cheapest offering in its class, so there may be some 'refinement' of this information when the car goes to market.

The pricing shown here is likely to be a dealer guide, and, although we expect it to be broadly accurate, the line “Final pricing will be confirmed closer to the vehicle’s release” signals that the information may be subject to change.

The model spread however is certainly accurate, with a model range that includes the familiar Neo and Maxx, followed by the new ‘sTouring’ and top-shelf ‘Akari’ models.

See below for the breakdown of features and engine/transmission configurations taken from the information we received.
