Maserati GranTurismo And GranCabrio Recalled For Door Fix – Also Rolls-Royce Recall

Maserati is recalling its GranTurismo and GranCabrio models in Australia due to a potential problem with the door latches.

The Italian carmaker has identified a weakness with the latch mechanism, which may have been manufactured with insufficient heat treatment.

In the event of a collision, the doors may open unintentionally, increasing the risk of injury to passengers.

A total of nine vehicles are targeted for the recall.

Rolls-Royce is recalling its Phantom Series II, due to a potential problem with the side curtain airbags.

The carmaker says the airbags may not deploy correctly during a collision, increasing the risk of injury to the vehicle occupants.

It is unknown how many vehicles are involved in the recall, but all were sold in Queensland between July 1 and October 30 of this year.

Maserati and Rolls-Royce will attempt to contact affected owners shortly, but any owner wishing to learn more about these recalls should contact their local dealer.
