Lotus Reveals Exige LF1 Special Edition

To celebrate the brand's involvement in Formula one, Lotus has revealed the Exige LF1 - a limited-run special edition based on the Exige S.

Outputs from the Exige LF1's supercharged 3.5 litre V6 are the same as the standard Exige S, with peak power of 257kW and peak torque of 400Nm. The 0-100km/h sprint time is also unchanged at 3.96 seconds.

But though the mechanical story is the same, the Exige LF1 sports a black, gold and red colour scheme that recalls the livery of classic Lotus Formula One cars.

It also comes with a host of upgrades, including grippy Pirelli P-Zero Trofeo tyres on 17-inch front and 18-inch rear wheels, fully-adjustable suspension and an upgraded brake package.
