Lexus Teases LF-C2 Concept Ahead Of LA Auto Show

Lexus has released a single teaser image of a new “open-air concept”, set to be unveiled at this month’s LA Auto Show.

Details are thin at present, with the Japanese carmaker leaving just the concept’s name and the shadowy outline as its primary clues.

The LF-C2 name suggests a ‘second’ version of the LF-CC concept from 2012, which may preview an upcoming RC Convertible.

Design whiz Theophilus Chin gave us his take on an RC Convertible a couple of years back, but Lexus fans have mostly been guessing as to how the new model may look.

Details on powertrain and features for the new concept are yet to be revealed, but the LF-CC was powered by a 2.5 litre four-cylinder petrol-electric hybrid unit.
