Lexus will reveal a new concept in Detroit next month, and while little information has been handed down, it is clear that the car will push a new ultra-luxury angle.
This latest image appears to confirm that we can expect a two-door coupe shape, suggesting that a grand tourer could join the new driver-focused Lexus line-up.
The cabin of the new concept reveals lashings of leather and velvet, with a retro-styled steering wheel and separate binnacle surrounded by rising bands of aluminium.
An earlier teaser image offered a preview of the concept's face, hinting at a complex shape punctuated by deep intakes and recessed headlights, surrounded by masses of aluminium highlights and the brand's trademark "Spindle" grille design.
Where Lexus will go with the concept's styling is unclear: it could preview a new flagship coupe or even a successor to the LFA, or it could merely stand as a streamlined look at the next IS range (sans a couple of doors and a realistic roof height).
We'll know for sure in just a few weeks.
