Lexus has already confirmed it'll be bringing a production version of its slinky LF-LC concept car to market, but with an expected arrival date of 2016 at the earliest there's still some time to go before we see it in the metal.
But if you can't wait that long to see Lexus' sexiest coupe since the LFA in motion, salvation is at hand.
Lexus, in conjunction with Polyphony Digital, will soon release the LF-LC GT "Vision Gran Turismo" virtual race car for Gran Turismo 6, allowing gamers to strap themselves into a race-ready version of the LF-LC concept.
And unlike many other cars in the long-running Vision Gran Turismo series, the LF-LC GT "Vision GT" looks more like a believable adaptation of a road car, rather than a wild and radical futuristic concept.
It's fairly faithful to the original concept car too, with the main changes being a ground-hugging aero kit, racing wheels, bigger brakes, vented bonnet and a large rear wing and diffuser.
The spindle grille and fishook LED DRLs - both Lexus hallmarks - feature prominently on the car's snout.
Lexus nor Polyphony make any mention of what resides under the LF-LC GT Vision GT's virtual bonnet, but the presence of a blue-hued Lexus badge on the grille indicates it's some form of hybrid powertrain.
The Lexus LF-LC GT Vision Gran Turismo will be released in the next couple of months as part of a free update for Gran Turismo 6 players.
