Lexus RC GT Rendered, Brings Four-Door Coupe Style To Lexus

Four-door coupes are all the rage right now in the land of luxe. 

BMW has the 4 Series Grand Coupe and 6 Series Gran Coupe, Audi has the A7 Sportback and Mercedes-Benz the CLA and CLS, but two luxury players still don't have a fastbacked four-door of their own: Lexus and Infiniti.

But could Lexus' new RC two-door give the Japanese brand the basis for a sedan/coupe hybrid of its own? Serial renderer Theophilus Chin thinks so, and his speculative rendering shows that the RC has the right ingredients to make it happen.

A GS-bodied Lexus prototype has been spied testing in Japan (below), but its proportions are much larger than the RC and would be an A7/CLS/6 Series GC competitor.

As yet, Lexus has yet to officially confirm whether a four-door coupe is in its development pipeline, whether RC or GS-sized.
