Lexus RC Concept Teased Ahead Of Frankfurt Motor Show

Update, November 4 2013: Boy were we wrong with this one! This turned out to be the LF-NX SUV concept, while the real RC Coupe was revealed in Tokyo this week.

Lexus has confirmed it will unveil "an all-new concept" at next month's Frankfurt Motor Show, stirring further speculation on a new coupe model. 

Reports in recent weeks have pointed to plans for a new 'RC' coupe, based on the Japanese luxury brand's box-fresh IS midsized sedan.

This first teaser image, released today, reveals that the coming concept will wear a face similar to the new IS, showcasing the familiar spindle grille design and glowing 'L' hook below slender LED headlights.
