The Lexus LF-SA concept has been officially unveiled at the Geneva Motor Show, following two unintentional ‘sneak peaks’.

A teaser image and text for the new concept was mistakenly posted on Lexus’ Twitter account in Europe before being removed, and an enthusiast site obtained and published leaked photos last week.

The concept is out in the open now, however, described by Lexus as an “ultra-compact urban 2+2 [which] captures Lexus' passion for upcoming design trends in a bold and emotional execution”.

Oddly perhaps - as the pair shares nothing in common - the LF-SA was designed to commemorate Lexus’ first model in the legendary LS 400 sedan, which celebrated its 25th birthday last year.

The concept measures 3450mm long, 1700mm wide and 1430mm high, and Lexus says its dimensions and styling point to a city car interpretation of the carmaker’s road-going ‘L’ range (LS, LX and LFA).
