Porsche's hot new hybrid-powered 918 Spyder has surfaced online this week, thanks to a handful of leaked brochure pages.
For its part, Porsche has already released plenty of data on its new supercar - including news today of a 7m14s lap of the famed Nurburgring Nordschleife, putting in the league of the Lexus LFA Nurburgring special.
The carmaker has also revealed in recent months that the 918's V8 petrol-electric hybrid powertrain produces upwards of 575kW, rocketing the supercoupe to 100km/h in around 3.2 seconds.
Despite the massive power figures, Porsche says the 918 Spyder's hybrid system will ensure fuel consumption figures as low as 3.0 l/100km - bettering most four-cylinder passenger cars... by a big margin.
The V8 plug-in hybrid system includes two electric motors fed by a lithium-ion battery pack, and a seven-speed dual-clutch transmission is also in play.
