Chinese brand LDV has provided initial details of its T60 range ahead of its local arrival later this year.

While it has yet to confirm prices, LDV's local importers, Ateco Automotive, has confirmed a full family of models will be offered, including single or dual-cab body styles, two- or four-wheel drive transmissions, manual or automatic gearboxes and in two model grades.

All variants will be powered by a 2.8-litre four cylinder turbo diesel engine that produces 110kW. All dual-cab models will be fitted with four-wheel drive as standard and come with either choice of gearbox, while cab-chassis versions will be offered exclusively with a manual gearbox but can feature either rear-wheel drive or four-wheel drive transmissions.

Without confirming any details other than confirming the T60 will continue LDV's position "of value for money pricing and above average equipment, trim and features", Ateco has said the two trim levels will ensure the ute covers "working business vehicles to recreational family transport".
