Land Rover has expanded its Discovery Sport range with a new High Specification Edition (HSE) model unveiled at the Frankfurt Motor Show.
Called the HSE Dynamic Luxury, the up-spec Disco Sport sits above the HSE Luxury bringing styling highlights both inside and out, along with a new ‘Intelligent Dynamics Pack’.
The Pack combines Land Rover’s Active Driveline System, which can switch between two- and four-wheel-drive depending on driving conditions, with the Adaptive Dynamics with MagneRide dampers system.
There’s also an upgraded All Terrain Progress Control (ATPC) system, which offers automated low-speed progress to the driver at the push of a button during off-road driving.
Power comes from the 132kW 2.0 litre TD4 four-cylinder turbo-diesel engine, which offers up 430Nm when optioned with the nine-speed automatic (380Nm for the manual).
Styling cues include 20-inch gloss black alloy wheels, cladding around the rear bumper which houses rectangular exhaust outlets and black highlights for the grille, mirrors and tailgate.
Pricing for the UK market starts from £46,000 (AU$) plus on-roads, with details for Australian customers yet to be finalised.
The current range-topper in Australia in the HSE Luxury starts from $69,000 plus on-road costs.
