Land Rover Discovery HSE Luxury On Sale In Australia From September

Land Rover has announced a limited edition of its Discovery 4 HSE model, to be badged HSE Luxury.

Available in Australia from September, local deliveries will be limited to just 100 examples of the 2000 to be offered worldwide.

As with the regular model, all HSE Luxury Limited Editions will be equipped with Land Rover's 180kW SDV6 turbodiesel and six-speed automatic transmission.

On the outside, the HSE Luxury features include silver highlights, colour-coded door handles and grille mesh, and larger 20-inch, 10-spoke alloy wheels.

The interior of the Luxury features premium Windsor leather, which now extends to the dash top surfaces and armrests.

The trim also features contrasting stitching and edging as found in the Range Rover Vogue. The interior detailing also features a specific wood veneer called Dark Zebrano.

There are only three colour options available, which are Santorini Black, Orkney Grey and for the first time on the Discovery 4, Havana Brown.

These unique details build on the the range of comfort and convenience updates added to all Discovery 4 models in November last year.

Australian models are still yet to be equipped with the new eight-speed automatic transmission that was introduced to European market Discovery 4s earlier this year.

With the limited-edition HSE Luxury on sale from September, it is likely that the eight-speed transmission will not arrive until late in the year.
