Lamborghini has unveiled its monster Gallardo LP 570-4 Super Trofeo Stradale at Frankfurt - a limited edition special based on the Lamborghini Blancpain Super Trofeo championship-series race car.
With just 150 being produced, you will not only need a seriously fat wallet, but will also need to be quick.
The V10 nestled mere centimetres from the right ear of the driver, puts out a numbing 425kW (570HP) at 8,000 rpm and 540Nm of torque at 6,500 rpm, pushing the STS from 0-100km/h in 3.4 seconds, hitting 200km/h in 10.4 and onto a top speed of 320km/h.
To make melting your face a tad easier, the Gallardo LP 570-4 STS comes with a "thrust mode" for maximum acceleration from rest - you and I would call it a launch control system.
Putting things to ground is a six-speed semi-automatic gearbox applying "thrust" through all four wheels.
Suspension and steering are also race-car developed as are the carbon-ceramic brakes. Still need more of the race-car experience? You can tick the options box for four-point seat belts, fire extinguisher and roll-cage.
Colours? Three choices only: “Rosso Mars” red, “Grigio Telesto” grey and “Bianco Monocerus” white. Each is also available with an optional gloss black roof.
Standard features include a matte-black spoiler, carbon-fibre seats, Alcantara and leather interior, and Bluetooth.
There is also the obligatory raising and lowering system for the front axle to prevent you grinding $20k off the nose every time you pull into your drive.
