Lamborghini Considers Adding 2+2 Coupe To Growing Range

Not content to settle for an expected doubling of sales volumes over the next two years with the arrival of the Urus SUV Italian supercar maker, Lamborghini, is also considering a more practical 2+2 coupe to join the range - the first since the end of Urraco production in 1979.

That’s according to Lamborghini CEO Stefano Domenicali, who spoke to TMR at the Geneva Motor Show for the unveiling of the Huracan Performante.

Don’t expect any new additions in the short-to-medium term however. Lamborghini’s product expansion is set to be a slow one, with nothing new in the pipeline between the Urus (below) in late 2017 and at least 2022.
