Russia’s AutoVAZ Group has unveiled its Lada XRAY 2 and Vesta concepts this week at the Moscow Motor Show.
Styled under the guidance of AutoVAZ’s owner, the Renault-Nissan Alliance, the two concepts are previews of road-going models set for production in the next 18 months.
The XRAY 2, as the name suggests, is the second XRAY concept following a three-door version that debuted at the same motor show in 2012.
The 2014 version has grown to a five-door SUV design, with a more ‘jacked-up’ look than the 2012 concept.
Underneath the XRAY 2 along with the Vesta is an “absolutely new” platform called “Lada B”, which was also influenced by Renault-Nissan.
