Kia Starts The Clock On New GT Model

The countdown to the launch of Kia’s new rear-wheel drive GT sedan has begun.

“There is a new paradigm of performance on the horizon”, “heart pounding performance”, “head-turning design”, “sleek sophistication,”  the Korean giant says.

And that countdown naturally has an on-line starting point with Kia launching its own minisite, featuring a timer to the new model's Detroit Auto Show debut and a collection of frantic footage shot at - where else - the Nurburgring circuit in Germany. 

But don’t get too excited just yet - the first episode doesn’t actually show the car, short of a few glances at its front wheel and instrument cluster. We’ll have to wait until the 8th January to see more.
