Kia GT Concept Revealed Further As New Images Surface Online

Kia's stunning first step into the 'four-door coupe' realm was first revealed late last month, but the Korean carmaker has kept its cards close to its chest when it comes to the GT's name.

Until now, that is. Thanks to a handful of new images that have surfaced online, the jig is up: say hello, again, to the aptly-named Kia GT Concept.

Bringing a dash of Aston Martin to the Kia's giant-slaying image, the GT will make its global debut at next week's Frankfurt Motor Show.

These new images offer not only a more complete look at the GT's exterior styling, but also a first glimpse at its sleak and driver-oriented interior.

While the concept's overall design looks largely production-ready, that interior would likely get a good deal of softening if the GT is ever to make it to a showroom floor.

"No matter from which perspective you look at it – this concept car is roaring with energy and ready for take-off. I believe the car is a strong statement from Kia: we are ready to fast forward to an all new chapter," Kia design boss Peter Schreyer said.

Kia still has a few cards up its sleeve, with the GT's technical details remaining a secret for the timebeing. With an unveiling scheduled for next week, all will be revealed soon.
