Kia will reveal not one but two all-new concepts in the coming weeks, with the already teased Provoke set to be joined by a new 'Cross GT' showcar.
While the Geneva-bound Provoke looks ready to take on Nissan's Juke in the sporty crossover segment, the Cross GT will be a larger five-door SUV.
Due for an unveiling in Chicago next month - where the new five-door Cerato hatch will also appear - the Cross GT is billed as a luxury SUV that is larger even than the current Sorrento.
If the Cross GT previews a new production model, it could replace Kia's Mohave SUV, which sits above the Sorento in some overseas markets - including North America, where it is sold as the Borrego.
The concept's design, teased in a single shadowy image here, points to a further evolution of Peter Schreyer's successful styling language, introducing a bold upright face and a slender headlight design.
Styling at the rear end could draw on the current Sorrento and Sportage however, with a tapered roofline and broad D-pillar evident.
Kia has revealed little else about the Cross GT, but keep an eye on TMR's Chicago Auto Show coverage for more details and images.
