Kia is gearing up for next week’s Geneva Motor Show, preparing to unveil new models, a new concept and a new engine at the event.

The motor show marks the first official appearance of the cee’d GT Line for the European market, with sales expected to commence by the fourth quarter of this year.

Kia says the GT Line combines the best bits from the cee’d GT and pro_cee’d GT and applies them across the regular cee’d range.

That means buyers in Europe can now opt for the GT treatment on the three- and five-door cee’d body-styles, along with the cee’d Sportswagon.

Features include 17-inch alloy wheels, twin exhaust tips and GT Line logos in the cabin, along with piano back and leather highlights throughout the interior.

Two engines are available for the cee’d GT Line, including an upgraded version of the model’s existing 1.6 litre diesel unit producing 98kW (up 4kW) and 285Nm (up 20Nm).
