Kia has pumped up the value on its Sorento large SUV adding $3000 worth of extra equipment to the Sorento Si at no extra cost to create the Sorento Si Limited.
Added extras for the Si Limited borrowed from the SLi include leather appointed seats, a premium steering wheel with wood-look trim, 18-inch machined-finish alloy wheels, and Si Limited badging.
The SI Limited will be available with either a 3.3-litre petrol V6 engine and front wheel drive, or a 2.2-litre turbo diesel and all wheel drive, both with a six-speed automatic transmission.
Pricing for the new variants start at $43,990 driveaway for the V6 and $47,490 driveaway for the diesel - nominally $3000 more than the standard Sorento Si, but that’s before taking on-road costs into consideration.
Colours for the Si Limited include Clear White or extra-cost premium Aurora Black, Silky Silver, and Snow White Pearl, each priced at $595 extra.
