Jeep has revived its Wrangler Freedom limited edition model, available now in Australian showrooms and priced from $38,500 plus on-road costs.
The Freedom was also available to Jeep customers at around the same time last year, but the 2015 edition brings with it a $3,500 price-rise.
Why? Because unlike the 2014 Freedom, which featured a six-speed manual gearbox as standard, the latest edition is only available with a five-speed automatic.
The 2015 version also picks up a standard reversing camera and satellite navigation - two features that weren’t standard fitment last year.
Jeep’s 3.6 litre Pentastar V6 petrol engine is the only powerplant available, producing 209kW of power and 347Nm of torque.
