Jeep Grand Cherokee Trailhawk Special Edition Launched In Australia

Jeep has added a new special-edition model to its Australian line-up, with the launch this week of the new Grand Cherokee Trailhawk. 

Tailored to four-wheel-drive enthusiasts, the Trailhawk adds toughened off-road capability and a number of exterior and interior styling tweaks. 

All Trailhawk models are driven by Jeep's 177kW/550Nm 3.0 litre V6 turbodiesel, matched with the Quadra-Drive II four-wheel-drive system. 

Also standard with the Trailhawk edition is Jeep's Quadra-Lift air suspension, under-body protection plates, steel Mopar rock-rails and 18-inch all-terrain tyres. 

Based on the current pre-facelift Grand Cherokee, the Trailhawk gets a large black and red bonnet graphic, black headlight bezels, recovery-rated towhooks in a red finish, 'Mineral Grey' accents to the mirror caps and grille and bespoke Trailhawk badges. 

In the cabin, there's black leather/suede seat trim with Trailhawk logos, red stitching highlights, anodised silver and black highlights and Mopar slush mats.

Pricing (excludes on-road costs)

Limited to 160 units, the Jeep Grand Cherokee Trailhawk is priced at $68,000 (includes GST and LCT, but excludes on-road costs and dealer delivery).
