Jaguar has confirmed that its venerable XK range will go into retirement later this year, after eight years on the job.

Available in Coupe and Convertible forms across a number of trim and performance levels, the XK has accounted for some 54,000 sales since its debut in 2006.

Global XK figures dropped to just 4000 last year however, thanks in part to an overall decline in luxury ‘grand tourer’ sales - along with the model’s age and the arrival of the new F-Type.
