Jaguar XE: Revealing New Photo Surfaces With New Tech And Fuel Details

Jaguar’s all-new XE midsized sedan will debut on September 8, giving fans a first complete look at the company’s first new sedan in five years.

That will likely mean an early September 9 unveiling in Australian time zones, ahead of a local launch that should occur sometime in 2015.

The company has also added coal to the teaser train’s fire today, revealing new details of the XE’s mechanical and technology package.

Already known is that the XE will feature an aluminium monocoque construction, using a new grade of high-strength aluminium called RC 5754. 

"This new alloy features a high level of recycled material and makes a significant contribution to Jaguar’s goal of using 75 percent recycled material by 2020," the company says.
