Jaguar has issued a recall in Australia this week, targeting three of its diesel-powered models.

The recall concerns a fuel return hose, which may be susceptible to leaks.

Jaguar says customers may notice a fuel odour around the vehicle, along with puddles of fuel under the car after it has been parked for a period of time.

Leaking fuel may contaminate the road surface, creating a hazard for other road users. Also, a fire risk is present in extreme circumstances.

Affected models include the Jaguar XE, Jaguar XF and the Jaguar F-Pace SUV - all fitted with the 2.0 litre diesel engine. In total, 126 cars are targeted by the recall in Australia (40 XEs, 29 XFs and 57 F-Paces).

Vehicles on the recall list are from the 2017 and 2018 model-years, sold in Australia between November last year and May 2017.

The recall process will see the offending fuel hose replaced at no cost to owners.

Jaguar will attempt to contact affected owners shortly, but any owner wishing to learn more about the latest round of recalls should contact their local dealer.
