Jaguar F-Type Revealed Further As New Images Surface Online

Jaguar's upcoming F-Type roadster is set to be the darling of this weekend's Paris Motor Show. But, when the curtain finally drops, there won't be much we haven't already seen. 

The whole show kicked off with the earlier C-X16 concept, and a slew of teasers and details in the months since have revealed most of what we can expect.

Last week, a chink in Jaguar's dam wall saw a single press shot find its way online, revealing the face of the new Jag. Today, the wall has burst and a full gallery of images has surfaced. 

The new shots confirm what last week's frontal shot promised: the F-Type is the spitting (and snarling) image of its concept progenitor, with only the switch to a soft roof setting it apart from the C-X16 coupe. 

The front of the new roadster bears the same stretched-back headlights, wide-open maw and deep doubled-up side intakes, while the rear shows off the concept's long tapered deck and slender tail-lights.

The interior reveals a driver-focused cockpit, with the passenger blessed by a giant 'jesus rail' to hang onto when the roadster is hurled into corners.

Full technical details are still to be revealed, but Jaguar has so far confirmed two versions of the F-Type. One will be driven by a supercharged 5.0 litre V8, and the other will get a 280kW 3.0 litre V6.
