Images of Jaguar's expected F-Type Coupe have surfaced online this week, purportedly as part of the new model's design patent application.
These renderings, published by German magazine Auto Motor und Sport, offer what could be the first look at the final F-Type Coupe's design.
While not indicated in these images, it is also likely that the Coupe will swap the concept's opening window hatch for a larger and more practical tailgate opening.
The F-Type Coupe's mechanical setup will mirror the Roadster, with powerful six- and eight-cylinder engine options and an eight-speed automatic transmission.
The Coupe is also expected to debut an entry-level 2.0 litre four-cylinder option, taking the 180kW engine currently featured in the Range Rover evoque.
Reports suggest the F-Type Coupe will make its production debut in the next 12 months, although an announcement has yet to be made.
The F-Type Roadster will go on sale in Australia this year, priced from $139,000 and topping out at $202,300 (plus on-roads).
