Is this Maserati's upcoming new Ghibli performance sedan? According to Czech website Autoforum.cz, the answer is yes.
If accurate, the photos reveal a front-end that does not stray far from the look of the new and larger Quattroporte, with slender curved headlights, a wide grille and a nearly identical bumper design.
The theme continues along the profile, with the familiar three-port fender vents, rising belt-line, high-curved character lines and swooping roofline.
It's a different story at the rear however, with these images revealing unique tail-lights and a high rear-deck that drops off shorter than its Quattroporte cousin, creating a more coupe-like appearance.
The cabin reveals a segmented dash design, focusing on a large centre display and a more sports-styled layout than the more stately Quattroporte.
It remains unclear if these images are 'the real deal', but as a new large sedan destined to rival the BMW 5 Series, Maserati looks set to gain ground in the prestige market.
