Japanese luxury brand Infiniti has released the first images and details of its medium QX50 Concept SUV which will make its public debut next week at the Detroit Auto Show.

Though offered in international markets since 2007, first as the EX35 and EX37, then later as the QX50, Infiniti’s crossover competes with prestige SUVs including the BMW X3 and Mercedes-Benz GLC.

In the case of the 2017 QX50 Concept, the Detroit show star previews the styling of the second generation medium SUV, and closely follows the styling themes set by the QX Sport Inspiration concept which first appeared at the Beijing Auto Show in 2016.
