Infiniti QX Sport Inspiration Previews New Midsized SUV

Infiniti’s QX Sport Inspiration concept has taken to the stands at the Beijing Auto Show, previewing a new midsized premium SUV.

Described by its maker as “an elegant and powerful expression of progressive SUV design”, the Sport Inspiration is the first clue to a ‘QX50’ model, new to markets outside Japan.

Infiniti is keeping the drivetrain details under wraps for now, but the Q50 sedan’s four-cylinder petrol and diesel engines, along with the V6 petrol-hybrid, could all potentially feature in the production version.

The QX50 would join the smaller QX30, unveiled late last year, along with the QX70 and QX80 in Infiniti’s SUV range.
