Infiniti Q80 Concept Teased

Losing two of its key bigwigs isn’t enough to slow Infiniti’s new model push, it seems, with the company again previewing an important new concept.

Teased here through a single shadowy sketch, the new ‘Q80 Inspiration’ is expected to offer a first look at Infiniti’s promised flagship model.

Destined to rival the likes of BMW’s 6 Series Gran Coupe, the Q80 is likely the latest entrant in the growing four-door coupe market.

The new image follows a tightly cropped photo released in August, hinting at a new take on the brand’s curvaceous new grille design.

Little is known about the concept at this stage, although Infiniti has confirmed that it will accommodate four passengers, suggesting something in the vein of Aston Martin’s Rapide.

The company adds that the Q80 Inspiration will "foreshadow an audacious top-of-the-line model”, its proportions and style positioning it “at the peak of the Infiniti range”.
