Infiniti’s mean GT-R powered machine will in the famous hill climb at next week’s Goodwood Festival of Speed, the company has confirmed.
The hot Q50 Eau Rouge performance concept will be thrown around Red Bull F1 team boss Christian Horner and reserve driver Sebastian Buemi.
Building on news that the Q50 Eau Rouge could soon enter production, this latest stunt follows the concept’s Detroit and Geneva unveilings.
There is little that isn’t known about the potential M3 rival, with Infiniti already confirming months ago that the Nissan GT-R’s 3.8 litre turbo six lurks beneath the special Q50’s bonnet.
Also matched to an all-wheel-drive system, Infiniti claims a very sharp 0-100km/h time of 4.1 seconds for the Eau Rouge.
Whether we’ll see this setup in the final production model is unclear - if production is indeed confirmed - but the concept of a four-door GT-R would make for one hell of a selling point.
Infiniti has had a lot to say about the Eau Rouge’s production potential. Learn more at the links below.
