Hyundai has teamed up with performance tuners Bisimoto for the fourth straight year to produce its latest powered-up creation for the 2015 SEMA show in Las Vegas.
Last year, a Sonata was transformed from family sedan into a 528kW monster, and for 2015 it’s the Tucson SUV’s turn to get the insane treatment from Bisimoto.
The pair hasn’t revealed exactly how much go the Tucson will drive away with, but another power output on the happy side of 500kW has been confirmed.
Needless to say, Hyundai is referring to it as the most powerful Tucson ever.
The same 2.4 litre four-cylinder engine that powers the regular Tucson remains in place, but Bisimoto has added stronger internals, an upgraded engine management system and a high-boost turbocharger.
Modifications include Arias 9:1 compression pistons, an upgraded camshaft, a high-flow fuel pump and filter along with a custom exhaust system.
