Hyundai Lukewarm On Standalone Sports Coupe, But Bullish On N Products

While Kia is forging ahead with plans to bring a RWD sports coupe to market, its corporate cousin Hyundai isn't so keen to stay in the sports car segment once the current-generation Genesis Coupe bows out.

Speaking to UK mag Autocar, Hyundai UK boss Tony Whitehorn says there is presently no business case for a future Hyundai sports car.

That contradicts statements by former Hyundai Europe chief Allan Rushforth, who has previously said that the company was considering a top-tier sports model based on the attractive PassoCorto concept of 2014.
