Year to date, Hyundai holds third place overall with 86,429 sales, placing it ahead of Holden. On passenger car sales alone (excluding commercial vehicles) Hyundai managed to outsell the passenger car lineups of Holden, Volkswagen, and Mazda.

In individual segments Hyundai leads the light car market thanks to combined sales of the outgoing i20 (484 units) and Accent (1548 units) ranges, giving it a 24.9 percent market share.
