Hyundai have announced a new concept vehicle that they will be debuting at this year’s Geneva Motor Show. Hyundai are calling the new concept the HED-5 and refer to it as an MPV (Multi Purpose Vehicle).
It might be called the HED-5 but the new concept is actually a 6-seater. Being constructed with the latest in advanced materials and technology it is said to be capable of achieving ultra-low emissions.
Hyundai enlisted the help of a number of well known corporations to assist with the creation of the HED-5, including Bayer, Recaro and LG, so expect it to have nice seats and plenty of electronic trickery.
By creating the HED-5, Hyundai are hoping to show just what they can achieve in emission reduction through the use of existing technologies – in this case a 29 percent reduction in CO2 emissions has been achieved with no negative effect on price, performance or driver involvement.
We should be able to bring you more on this unique Hyundai after its Geneva debut.
