Hyundai has teased its third concept for the SEMA show in Las Vegas, as a joint effort between the Korean carmaker and Neil Tjin.
Of course, the Genesis gets a power boost for its SEMA appearance but Tjin has chosen the 3.8 litre V6 petrol engine rather than Hyundai’s eight-cylinder unit as the basis.
Power is now rated at over 370kW, thanks in part to a supercharger kit from another of Hyundai’s partners in Bisimoto Engineering along with a high-flow exhaust, intercooler, and even an uprated battery.
Elsewhere, the Genesis gets 19-inch three-piece wheels wearing high-performance Falken tyres, much larger brake calipers and rotors, coilover suspension and exterior embellishments such as a rear spoiler.
The exterior package is finished off with Kylie Tjin Axalta green paint and upgraded headlights.
Inside, there’s custom Alea leather trim and a roll cage from Unique Fabrication.
“The Tjin Edition Hyundai Genesis is the perfect mix of speed and style,” Neil Tjin said.
“The vehicle grabs your attention with its vibrant paint job and custom wheels [and] it boasts impressive performance thanks to a Bisimoto Engineering supercharger system and Baer brake system.”
The TJIN Edition Hyundai Genesis will be unveiled at the SEMA show in Las Vegas next month.
