Hyundai Adds Three Years Free Mapping To i30 Hatch, i40 Sedan

Buy a new Hyundai i30 hatch or i40 sedan equipped with satellite navigation, and you'll score three years of free map updates.

Announced this week, Hyundai's new NAVTEQ MapCare plan promises complimentary map updates with every annual scheduled service.

Developed with phone and mapping giant Nokia, the MapCare service is featured in all i30 hatch and i40 sedan models equipped with satellite navigation, standard in Elite and Premium grades.

The sat-nav system also features SUNA Traffic Channel live traffic updates, with notifications for on-road incidents and offering alternative routes around accidents, roadwork and congestion.

The i40 Tourer wagon is not currently available with satellite navigation, although a mid-year update is expected to unify the i40 range's equipment levels.
