HSV has revealed its 30 Years range which will form part of the Australian performance manufacturer’s farewell to the Commodore range before production comes to an end in October.

The 30th Anniversary treatment will be applied to the Clubsport R8 LSA, Clubsport R8 Tourer LSA, Maloo R8 LSA, and Senator Signature vehicle lines, with HSV also announcing a trio of even higher-performance GTSR variants as the flagship farewell (read more here).

For the 30 Years editions HSV has bumped power from the supercharged 6.2 litre LSA engine up to 410kW and 691Nm, from the previous 400kW and 671Nm tune.

HSV’s brake torque vectoring system, previously only available on the GTS range, also forms a part of the 30 Years package along with changes to the bimodal exhaust system that see the valves open earlier in the rev range for a more evocative soundtrack.

Other 30 Years touches include matte black 20-inch alloy wheels, a unique engine build plate, 30 Years floor mats, 30 Years badging on the front guards, 30 Years sill plates (except Maloo R8 LSA) and a 30 Years rear window decal (except Clubsport R8 Tourer LSA).

Options for the 30 Years range extend to wider lightweight 20x9-inch front and 20x10-inch rear forged alloy wheels in a new SV Rimfire design, and six-piston AP Racing front brake calipers with 390mm front and 372mm rear discs from the GTS.

HSV will offer the 30 Years range in three new colours, Spitfire green, Son Of A Gun grey and Light My Fire orange.

“The performance and styling enhancements we’ve introduced with the “30 Years” range, coupled with the adoption of exclusive ‘anniversary’ content, are a tribute to five important models that have helped shape HSV,” HSV’s managing director, Tim Jackson said.

“These vehicles are designed to enhance what is already a great value proposition, and we look forward to offering our loyal fans a unique opportunity to be part of our final range of the Zeta platform”.

The HSV GTS misses out on the 30 Years treatment, retaining its 430kW/740Nm 6.2 litre supercharged V8 and appearance package, acting as a stepping stone in the range between the 30 Years range and the newly introduced GTSR range.
