Honda S2000 Revival Rumours Gain Pace – Again

A reborn version of the iconic Honda S2000 roadster looks to be moving closer to reality, with latest reports suggesting that a twin-charged 2.0-litre engine could be under development to power the new model.

Persistent rumours of a sports car designed to slot in between the Japan-only S660 roadster and supercar-rivalling NSX aren’t new, but according to Car and Driver details of the compact sports car have emerged from Japan.

The S2000 is set to arrive in 2018, just in time to celebrate Honda’s 70th anniversary - just as the original S2000 was created by Honda as a 50th birthday present to itself.
