With only 45 shopping days until Christmas, Honda is one of the first carmakers in Australia to jump with an end-of-year sale.

Dubbed the “Feel Free Annual Clearance”, the program offers buyers free registration and free CTP insurance along with an extended warranty and a longer period of roadside assistance.

The extended warranty offers five years or 140,000km cover (whatever occurs first), whereas the standard new car warranty for Honda is three-years or 100,000km. The roadside assistance program is extended to match this timeframe.

Roadside assistance is also boosted to include a “Personal Incident Management Service” for vehicle occupants who suffer strife more than 100km from home.

“Our Feel Free Annual Clearance is another way that we are providing value-for-money to our customers on some of our top-selling Honda models such as Jazz, City, Civic Sedan, CR-V and Odyssey,” Honda Australia Director, Stephen Collins, said.

Honda sales were up 24 percent last month compared to October last year, and up 28 percent on year-to-date figures.

Strong performers include the Odyssey people-mover - up 13 percent YTD - and the new HR-V, which had a healthy 12 percent share of the crowded small SUV market last month.

The promotion runs until December 31, 2015.
