Holden has announced the introduction of Apple's Siri Eyes Free system into the top-shelf Barina CDX, making it the first car in Australia to offer the new technology.

The news follows the addition last year of GM's MyLink infotainment system and seven-inch display to the Barina, available specifically in the CDX.

Integrated into MyLink, Siri Eyes Free allows drivers with a compatible iPhone to push a button on the steering wheel to activate the Siri assistant.
