Google has handed down a new look at its coming ‘Android Auto’ infotainment system, which will soon take on Apple’s Carplay platform.

The tech giants have been poised to launch new assaults on the automotive realm for some time. Now, with a number of carmakers throwing their support behind each, 2015 could prove to be ‘the year of infotainment’.
