Goodwood Badge To Grace Bespoke MINI Variants: Report

Just as the John Cooper Works badge stars on all of its top-shelf performance models, MINI may soon affix a Goodwood badge to luxury versions of its cars. 

Reports out of the UK this week point to a possible line-up of customer-specified luxury Coopers, inspired by the MINI Inspired by Goodwood (IbG) revealed last month.

MINI announced at the IbG's unveiling that only 1000 examples will be built, featuring Rolls Royce-approved luxury enhancements, along with the Cooper S' 135kW 1.6 litre turbocharged engine. 

Little else has been revealed about the potential for an entire luxury programme, but according to British magazine Autocar, we can expect to see similar Goodwood packages offered with MINI's other models.
