Alfa Romeo might be on track for whatever prize goes to the brand that makes it all the way to an unveiling date without its all-new model leaking to the press.
Perhaps even more skillful is that the Italian carmaker has come so close to the June 24 unveiling of its new ‘Giulia’ sedan without a single final-body test car spied on the road.
The end of that run may be near, however, with a newly spied Maserati Ghibli sedan revealing the smallest hint of a uniquely Alfa snout.
Previous prototypes for the new Alfa Romeo midsizer have worn exposed Ghibli panels at every corner, but the ‘mule’ shown here now wears a heavily camouflaged face.
The rest is again a chopped-down Maserati, but here we can see that we’re now ‘that much’ closer to a long-coming look at the new Alfa Romeo sedan’s styling.
